Develop Interventions
A lack of (ready-to-use) interventions contributes to the ineffectiveness of practice even though it’s considered an essential skill in social work. During this on-going research, we have currently identified around 80 interventions and more will follow. From the research, we noticed that different interventions were more suited to specific areas of social work, such as cognitive, social, emotional, practical, etc. We are also endeavouring to develop the interventions in stages so they can be taught to practitioners in accordance with their level of experience i.e., Students, First Year, Qualified, Experienced, Advanced, Strategic.

Money raised will be allocated to developing much-needed intervention skills and the intention is to pay and supervise university students, who wish to be involved, a fee to research and develop different aspects during their holiday breaks. So, the amount of research would be tailored to the amount of money raised. If anyone wants to donate a significant (unspecified) amount, they could sponsor the development of a specific subject that may be of personal importance to them.
